Getting Started
Read your dashboard
The Dashboard is your project’s home screen: a single page that summarizes inventory, shooting progress, the schedule calendar, team tasks, shortcuts, and recent activity. Open it from the first icon in the sidebar (or the Dashboard tab on a phone). This guide explains each section and the few things you can do from here.
Before you start
- A project is selected. Without one, the dashboard reads Select a project to view the dashboard.
- The KPI rings and the schedule calendar fill in once you have uploaded a script, built a schedule, and started marking strips complete.
The dashboard scrolls vertically and rearranges its columns to fit your screen. Pull down to refresh the stats, calendar, day detail, and tasks.

Count pills
A row of pills at the top shows key project counts: Episodes, Scripts, Scenes, Pages, Locations, Sets, Cast, and Crew. Select a pill to jump to the matching section — for example, Cast opens the Crew section, and Locations opens the breakdown’s Locations.
KPI rings
Four ring cards show shooting progress against your active schedule:
| Ring | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Pages Shot | Pages completed on strips marked done, against total script pages. |
| Schedule | Completed shoot days against total scheduled shoot days. |
| Scenes Done | Strips marked complete against total scenes. |
| Avg Pages/Day | Average pages per completed shoot day (a full ring is about 8 pages per day). |
The rings update as you mark strips complete on the strip board and adjust the schedule.
Schedule calendar and day detail
Calendar
The Schedule card shows a month calendar. Its legend explains every calendar marker: Shoot, Prep, and Travel identify schedule day types; an outline marks Today; a filled purple marker identifies the Selected day; and the small Production event dot means that date has at least one production event. Use the arrow buttons to change months, and select a date to load it in the day detail.
Because color carries meaning here, the legend names every color, and the day detail repeats the day type in words.
Day detail
The day-detail panel shows everything scheduled for the selected date: shoot scenes (with scene numbers, settings, and times — expand a row for the breakdown) and production events. Its header shows the date, the day type, scene and event counts, and the crew call time.
To add a production event to the selected date, select Add entry. (Adding entries requires admin access.) In the New entry dialog, choose a Category, then fill in a Title, Date, Start and End time, an optional Location, and optional Notes, and choose Save entry. The event then appears as a dot on the calendar and in the day’s timeline.
Admins and Owners can open an event row’s ⋮ menu to Edit or Delete it. Editing opens the same form with the event’s values filled in; deleting asks for confirmation. Calendar, day-detail, and call-sheet data refresh after either action.
The Category options are Meeting, Fitting, Casting, Travel, PR, Social media, Prep, and Other. Labels and the selected-day date follow the app language.
Tasks
The Tasks card is a shared to-do list for everyone in the project. The same list is also available from Tasks in the app navigation as a left-side panel, so the dashboard card and global panel are two entry points to the same data. Changes made in either place appear in the other. The header shows how many tasks are still open.
- Type a task in the Add a task… field, then select Add or press Enter.
- To give a task a due date, select the date button next to the field before adding it.
- Select a task’s checkbox to mark it done (it gets a strikethrough).
- Select the pencil icon on a task to edit its title or due date.
- Select the × to delete a task.
Tasks with due dates show a pill: Today, Tomorrow, a date, or Overdue.
Shortcuts
The Shortcuts card holds quick-jump tiles to the sections and reports you use most. Select a tile to go straight there.
To choose which tiles appear, select the customize icon (the sliders) in the card header. Turn shortcuts on or off from the catalog of sections and report types. You can enable up to 6 at once, and your choice is saved per project.
Activity
The Activity card lists the project’s most recent changes — uploads, breakdown edits, schedule moves, comments, and similar — up to eight entries. Each row shows who acted, a short description, and how long ago. Use it as a lightweight history without leaving the dashboard.
