Notifications
Notifications tell you about events that involve you — mentions, likes on your comments, finished AI jobs, and low credit balances. This article explains how to open the notification list, read and clear notifications, and what each notification type means. To find it later, search for “notifications,” “mark all read,” or “notification bell.”
Everything in SceneItAll is project-scoped, and notifications follow the same rule: each notification is tied to one project (or is a platform-wide message) and is sent to one recipient — you. The bell follows the project selected in the top bar, while platform-wide messages appear in every project.
Open your notifications
To open your notifications, select the bell in the top bar. When you have unread notifications for the selected project, or unread platform-wide messages, a red badge on the bell shows the count (it shows 99+ once you pass 99 unread).
The dropdown lists notifications for the selected project, plus platform-wide messages, newest first. Switching projects refreshes both the list and unread badge; notifications belonging to other projects stay in those projects.

Read a notification
To mark a single notification as read, select it. The green unread dot disappears and the title changes from bold to regular weight.
If the notification is about an AI proposal — for example, element-detection results that are ready to review — selecting it opens the proposal review dialog directly, so you do not have to navigate to the script yourself.
Mark everything as read
To clear every unread indicator in the current list at once, select Mark all read in the dropdown header. This marks notifications for the selected project and platform-wide messages as read without changing notifications in other projects. The action appears only while the current list has at least one unread notification.
Remove notifications
You have two ways to remove notifications:
- To delete one notification, select the X on its row. It is removed permanently.
- To delete every notification you have already read in the current list, select Delete read in the dropdown header. Notifications in other projects are not deleted. This action appears only while the current list has at least one read notification.
When you have no notifications, the dropdown shows No notifications.
What each notification shows
Each row in the dropdown shows:
- A green dot on the left while the notification is unread.
- The title — bold while unread, regular weight once read.
- An optional second line of detail (the body), when one is provided.
- A relative timestamp, such as just now, 5m ago, 2h ago, 3d ago, or 1w ago.
- An X to delete the row.
Notification types
SceneItAll sends these kinds of notifications. The type determines the wording of the title and, where relevant, what selecting the notification opens.

A notification can link back to the item it is about — a comment, a proposal, or a job — which is what lets proposal notifications jump straight to the review dialog.
How notifications relate to AI jobs
AI features run in the background. When element detection or a continuity check finishes, you get a notification whose results are a proposal you review before anything changes in your breakdown. Selecting the notification opens that proposal so you can accept, reject, or adjust the suggestions. Reviewing a proposal is the only thing that applies AI suggestions — the notification itself changes nothing. See the AI features overview, Detect elements with AI, and Check continuity.
